We met this couple on a warm spring afternoon in our office in Milan. The young couple had lots of beautiful ideas and explained to us that they wanted a simple but elegant wedding in Piedmont, possibly in a venue overlooking Lake Maggiore. They met each other during a beach holiday abroad so the water element was very important (that’s why the lake).

They wanted to get married in a Catholic Church near the venue.

The wedding theme was the turquoise color that they both liked very much. So here we are working on a beautiful turquoise-themed wedding in Piedmont!

As usual, we immediately got to work by proposing:

1. The venue: an elegant Neo-Gothic Resort overlooking Lake Maggiore
2. a tableau with table names all inspired by turquoise
3. white and turquoise set-up … of course

In the flowers proposal we have suggested a riot of:

• white peonies
• with touches of turquoise colour almost everywhere and many candles.

The aperitif was set up in islands within the venue’s large garden. All guests enjoyed the coolness considering the heat of that day. The dinner in the elegant internal rooms protect the guests from the cool evening breeze coming from Lake Maggiore even in summertime. The cake cutting and the large buffet of desserts and fruit was set up on the terrace overlooking the lake.

Immediately after the cake cutting we organized a bright Chinese lantern release, really suggestive and engaging for everyone.

The couple and guests then enjoyed dancing late into the night on the music played by one of our talented DJs.
